Yesterday at the ISTE 2016 Conference, ISTE debuted the new Standards for Students 2016. Most modern educators will agree, this revision was long overdue. The last time ISTE updated the standards was 2007. New educational technologies have forged change in the last nine years. The new standards reflect the changes in the landscape of the education world.
While reading the Standards for Students 2016, students and teachers have the ability to hover over important text and get a detailed explanation and examples. I would like to see this same feature utilized in the standards for Teachers, Administrators, Coaches, Computer Science Educators.
